Bozcaada
Bozcaada is a small island of vineyards, windmills, a Greek village and beaches that stay quiet outside August. Bring a car or rent a bike, book a winery visit, and do not try to see everything in one day. The ferry from Geyikli is part of the trip.
Best time to visit: June and September; August is busiest.
Çanakkale
Çanakkale guards the Dardanelles and holds two of Türkiye's defining stories: ancient Troy and the Gallipoli campaign. Bozcaada, Assos and the Aegean coast give the province a slower, island-like side.
